Seven Jewish Short Fictions (2006)

[Taking seriously the proscription against the presentation of graven images in art, I thought about fictions so abstract that they would represent nothing in particular but much by extension. For material I thus selected numerals. Elsewhere I’ve made fictions entirely of symmetrical line-drawings that metamorphose in sequence, some of which could have been similarly titled, though not so resonantly, in my considered opinion.]
